With reference to the Clopton Quarter area of SG18. This area of open agricultural land, outside the existing area of the town provides rural views from the paths around the Clopton Fields area of the Welcombe Hills Nature Reserve. I have seen Buzzards, Owls, Bats, Hedgehogs, Woodpeckers, Roe Deer and Foxes living in this area. Building in this area will encroach on the setting of Grade 11 listed Clopton House. Development in this area can only add to the existing congestion on Birmingham Road.
