Negative impact on local character and heritage as Hatton is a rural and historically significant area known for its Heritage Hatton Locks (Stariway to heaven) and Grand Union Canal.
Too close to Warwick. Increase in traffic congestion, air and noise pollution, with negative impact on health and quality of life. Popular route used by cyclists, runners and horse-riders this will become more dangerous.
Lack of infrastructure, major shops, healthcare facilities or schools, limited transport links making it car-dependent.
Expanding public transport would require significant investment.
