1. The proposed area is in Green Belt - 1,400 acres of farmland that can never be replaced. It is irresponsible of councillors/officers to consider devastating land that should be used for food production. Farming should be encouraged - not obliterated.
2. Access to the rail station is inadequate and would require the destruction of rural lanes.
3. The station is incapable of expansion. It is close to Warwick Parkway; train operators will be unwilling to introduce a further stop.
4. The infrastructure will require uneconomic investment that will have no payback.
5. Medical services will be swamped.
