No exceptional circumstances to justify removal of green belt in accordance with NPPF. Other sites more suitable.
Negative impact on Landscape with historical significance (Kenilworth’s castle), obstructing views.
Foul drainage already inadequate on Rouncil Lane.
No GP, transport, Secondary school within 20-minutes. Unlikely to integrate into Kenilworth leading to ‘crime estate’. Schools already oversubscribed.
Loss of productive farmland.
Adverse effect on access to well-used countryside footpaths, affecting wellbeing.
SG04 is the 2nd lowest housing capacity yield of all growth areas.
Influx of traffic along Rouncil Lane already used by lorries + increased traffic from new housing (sixth form)
