These are critical recreational and outdoor areas for public use. There are already many areas of land in development in Kenilworth. Kenilworth is known for its rural and natural beauty which we are losing. There are not enough facilities to go around for even more housing; schools and GP surgeries are overstretched, and the roads cannot cope with more traffic. I have walked on the footpaths in the area identified almost every day for 15 years and see much biodiversity, including pine martins, wood peckers, badgers, and even herons nesting in the treetops. I am strongly against this proposal.
