The doctors surgery is not big enough to support the extra residents.
The high school is at capacity and lacks a sixth form which means more travelling on roads that are already poorly maintained.
There is no rail link, buses are not regular and take a long time to get to the nearest big towns. Car use is essential as there is not enough employment for the added population.
The sewage system already struggles with some houses and gardens being regularly flooded.
Surface water run off will increase the flood risk.
