This is a site of special historic interest holding the remaining pieces of the ancient Forest of Arden. The greenbelt is something to be proud of and treasured. The quiet country lanes will become rat runs. The rural character destroyed forever. Riding,cycling and walking will be dangerous. The existing charming canal bridges will not withstand traffic. This proposal strikes at the very heart of what rural Warwickshire means. I’ve lived here on and off for 45 years and this feels like I am being betrayed by the people I vote in to be custodians of this special county.
