Shipston can not cope with any more housing development. The Doctors surgery is already struggling to accommodate the existing population, the schools are over -subscribed . Children from Shipston are being bused to Long Compton to attend the Primary School.
Lack of jobs in Shipston means people will have to seek work elsewhere. Bus services are limited, there is no train station.
The area behind Bosley Close is a Conservation area, and includes Willets Piece which is owned by the Town Council and was intended for residents to enjoy open space. The proposed development will have a negative impact.
