A new ring road around Stratford is needed to reduce traffic on the Clopton Bridge and redirect HGVs travelling from the M40 to Meon Vale, especially if major development occurs at location E1.

Opening the rail line between Stratford and Honeybourne has been demonstrated not possible. There is no route to connect the Greenway to Stratford Station, nor the Rail Technology Centre, and a new railway station would not be financially feasible.

The Greenway route from Stratford to Meon Vale is a valuable community resource that should be protected as a cycle route and designated as a local wildlife site/corridor.
