Kenilworth has lost significant amounts of Greenbelt protection which is changing its sense of place. Losing further swathes in this area also risks subsuming Leek Wootton.

In the last plan Kenilworth took a large number of houses and sacrificed lots of greenbelt. With the way that the town is configured, with traffic pushed through the bottle neck of the Warwick Road, adding additional housing risk the town becoming a congested mess, pushing further traffic onto side roads.

This site is also within view of Kenilworth Castle, spoiling the view form one of the most important cultural assets in the county.
