These transport routes will be essential for commuting to employment outside South Warwickshire. A particular problem is the barrier that the River Avon interposes for people living south who want to travel to Coventry or Birmingham. For development of the Long Marston site, for example, there will have to be a bypass road south of Stratford with routes via new bridges to both the north-west and north-east. linking to the A46.
