I object as this proposal involves the loss and destruction of the ancient tranquil attractive countryside and farmland surrounding the small historic village of Hatton, intruding on the attractive isolated setting of its Grade 11* listed church, and adversely affecting the ancient bluebell woodland at Hatton Wood and the historic Hatton canal corridor and its renown flight of locks. The proposal is self-serving and inherently unsustainable as both the site location and Hatton Station lie isolated and remote from the main towns and services in the area, in stark contrast to potential urban extensions of such towns which I support.
