I strongly object to the proposed development of 7,000+ homes in Lapworth Parish due to its detrimental impact on the local area. This scale of development would irreversibly damage the village’s rural character, strain already overstretched infrastructure, and harm the environment by destroying green spaces and wildlife habitats. The proposal is also incompatible with local planning policies and fails to address the pressure it will place on essential services, particularly healthcare, where hospitals, GPs, and dentists are already struggling. I urge the committee to reject this proposal in the best interests of Lapworth and its residents.
