the local infrastructure is not large enough to cope with the existing amount of residents. The roads are already gridlocked leading to Stratford (not just at peak times!), the local train stations are small, with little car parking, to cope with the extra.
The area suffers with terrible flooding, which will only be made worse by all the extra concrete, hard standing and surface run off.
Also, the area suggested between the two villages is prime agricultural land that should be retained for the purpose of crop production. It is in an area of green belt and should be preserved.
