I strongly object to the proposed 6,700-home development between Wilmcote and Bearley due to catastrophic impacts on the Green Belt, infrastructure, and local communities. This proposal violates national planning policy, overloads roads and public services, and lacks employment opportunities, turning the area into an unsustainable commuter settlement. No provisions for schools, healthcare, or flood prevention exist, exacerbating existing pressures. Wilmcote and Bearley would be permanently destroyed as rural villages, swallowed into an urban sprawl. This is irresponsible, unjustified, and wholly inappropriate. I urge planners to reject this reckless proposal in full.
