Development at this site will result in a huge loss of agricultural land and food security. This loss means increased imports causing more environmental damage.
It also means loss of important green belt separating historic Warwick from the West Midlands.
There is currently only one hospital in Warwick and each Winter it struggles to cope with demand to treat sick patients.
The facilities locally do not suit an increased population - not enough GP surgeries, dentists and schools.
Excessive housing in this area is not realistic as the road network would not cope with a proposed town of this size.
