SG06 in its current form plays a important role in promoting good physical and mental health of residents of Leamington and provides a much-needed barrier between towns of Leamington Spa and Kenilworth. Development of this site would not only lead to a loss of this considerable existing value, but would also promote reliance on car travel and lead to a further increase in the already unsustainable levels of car traffic between north and south Leamington. This runs strongly contrary to the core importance that the SWLP has rightly placed on sustainability.
