I am lodging my objections to the proposed South Warwickshire Local Plan, particularly regarding potential new settlement C1. My concerns include significant traffic issues on Old Warwick Road, which is already hazardous and lacks public transport options. The local healthcare system is overstretched, and the area’s schools cannot accommodate the projected population increase. Utilities like gas, water, and electricity are inadequate for new developments. Additionally, the impact on wildlife and the loss of green spaces will drastically alter the character of Rowington and Lapworth, compromising their appeal as countryside locales.
