I fully endorse the seven arguments presented by Old Milverton and Blackdown Joint Parish Council against the Green Belt proposals in SG06. I believe similar debates are happening across England, as local communities strive to protect their countryside from such incursions. Many housing proposals are unnecessary if the government acknowledges that high immigration levels contribute to the ongoing housing crisis. There is a strong local sentiment for reducing immigration, and any legitimate protest on this matter should be supported.
