I am responding to the South Warwickshire Local Plan Preferred Options Consultation regarding the proposed new settlement C1 . I have serious concerns about C1's viability with the 20-minute neighbourhood policy due to inadequate transport infrastructure, narrow roads, significant traffic issues, and pressure on local schools and healthcare. Additionally, the environmental impact on heritage sites and existing challenges like frequent power cuts, flooding, and the lack of mains gas supply raise further issues. Lastly, the area has limited local employment opportunities, compounding these concerns.
