As the MP for Meriden and Solihull East, I formally object to policy SG24 in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. This proposal for housing significantly impacts my constituents, particularly concerning Green Belt land loss, environmental degradation, and strain on local infrastructure, including schools and healthcare. It threatens to alter the character of Hockley Heath, increases traffic congestion, and does not align with sustainable growth policies. I urge the planning authority to consider alternative solutions that protect the environment and community. SG24 should be removed from further consideration.
