I strongly oppose the proposed housing development in Lapworth parish, which aims to increase homes to around 7000. This expansion would fundamentally change our village into a small town, harming its rural identity. My key concerns include the strain on local infrastructure, the loss of village character, environmental impacts, the lack of justification for such a large project, and the widespread community opposition. I urge reconsideration of this development to protect our village's character and quality of life, and I welcome further discussion on alternative solutions.
