I formally object to the proposed developments at Chessetts Wood Road and other sites in Lapworth. These developments would significantly harm the village's character and rural appeal, disrupting the landscape, natural beauty, and biodiversity. The existing infrastructure cannot support the anticipated traffic increase, leading to safety concerns and pollution. Furthermore, the developments threaten agricultural land and flood resilience. Local services are inadequate, with persistent water shortages and poor mobile coverage. I see no justified local need for such extensive developments and urge the council to reconsider these proposals.
