I strongly object to the proposed C1 settlement and 18 infill sites at Lapworth and Rowington. This development would destroy rural heritage, harm greenbelt openness, and negatively impact wildlife due to light and noise pollution. It threatens vital farmland, would exacerbate local traffic congestion on unsuitable roads, and strain already limited community infrastructure, including schools and healthcare. Additionally, the local train station lacks adequate facilities. The proposed development would irreparably alter the landscape and historic sites. In my view, this is an inappropriate development for our rural village.
