I am deeply concerned about the proposal to build over 8,000 new homes on green belt land due to its potential impact on local infrastructure. The existing road network is inadequate for the expected increase in traffic, which would lead to gridlock and longer commute times. Furthermore, essential services like schools and healthcare facilities are already at capacity, with no plans for expansion. Environmentally, this development would threaten green spaces and wildlife habitats, exacerbating urban sprawl. Given the negative experiences from previous developments, I believe this proposal should be rejected in favour of sustainable alternatives.
