I formally object to the proposed Hatton New Community (B1) development in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. This plan for 8,000 new homes is inappropriate for Hatton, threatening the environment, local infrastructure, and community character. It would destroy green belt land, increase traffic congestion, and strain local services, including schools and healthcare. Additionally, it would alter the rural identity of Hatton, impacting tourism and quality of life. I urge the planning authorities to reconsider this proposal and focus on sustainable growth in areas capable of supporting such development without harming rural communities.
