I formally object to the inclusion of the C1 - Land south of Kingswood as a Strategic Growth Area in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. As a Lapworth resident, I see no justifiable reason for developing this green belt and agricultural land. Such development would harm wildlife, increase carbon footprints, and exceed the infrastructure capabilities of our villages. The area is popular with walkers and cyclists. Existing transport facilities are inadequate. Furthermore, the lack of local amenities for children could lead to increased anti-social behaviour. There appear to have been no considerations of alternative brownfield sites nearby.
