I have registered on the online portal but find it challenging to navigate the SWLP for effective commenting. I support housing development on suitable brownfield sites and extensions to existing urban areas with infrastructure. However, I oppose any green belt development, especially the five potential new settlements in the green belt due to environmental concerns and inadequate infrastructure. Specifically, I object to development in area C1 south of Kingswood for its negative impact on wildlife, the canal conservation area, visual detriment, and lack of necessary services like transport, education, and healthcare.
