I believe the local plan's formation should focus on addressing Wellesbourne's infrastructure deficits before considering housing expansion. Recent developments have overwhelmed existing amenities, with no improvements to infrastructure. The lack of detail in proposed development areas makes it challenging to object effectively. Any new development must consider Wellesbourne's inadequate medical, educational, and transport facilities. The sewage system is already over capacity, and much of the land proposed for development is agricultural or floodplain. Wellesbourne needs a break from further development to enhance infrastructure instead of prioritising housing.
