I strongly object to the proposal for over 7,000 new homes in Lapworth, Kingswood, and Rowington under the South Warwickshire Local Plan. This level of development will harm the local economy and infrastructure, making it difficult for businesses to operate. The current roads struggle with congestion, and the plan lacks a proper transport strategy. Additionally, it fails to address how essential services will cope with increased demand. The rural charm of Lapworth, which attracts visitors and supports local businesses, is at risk. I urge a reconsideration of this proposal for sustainable development.
