I wish to express my objections to the proposed strategic plans for the village. We face ongoing flooding issues and low water pressure, which would worsen with increased development. Traffic congestion is already problematic, and additional houses would exacerbate pollution and access issues. The environmental impact would be severe, destroying ancient hedgerows, woodlands, and natural watercourses, while increasing noise levels. Our local amenities are already limited, with a full school and distant healthcare services. These developments threaten the character of the village and could lead to its merging with surrounding areas. I urge a reconsideration of these proposals.
