I believe that the lanes in Sherbourne cannot accommodate more traffic and parking due to their narrowness and lack of footpaths. There is already a planning application to convert a barn into three houses, potentially adding 6-9 cars to the roads. The peaceful view across the field is crucial to the village's character, particularly within the Conservation Area. Ongoing water and sewage issues remain unresolved, and adding more houses would exacerbate these problems. Additionally, the lack of local services would mean new residents relying on cars, contradicting the Council’s sustainability policy.
