I am a concerned homeowner in Wellesbourne, opposing the proposed South Warwickshire Local Plan. After 25 years in this village, I cherish its unique character and quality of life. The development would harm our picturesque landscape and increase flood risks. The severe flooding of 2007 proves that Wellesbourne is vulnerable. The lack of rail connectivity would heighten car reliance, worsening traffic and pollution. Additionally, losing valuable farmland threatens local agriculture. The plan neglects the need for expanded educational and health facilities. I urge the council to consider alternative development sites and necessary infrastructure improvements.
