I strongly object to “Potential Site F1 Land to the West of Ufton” for a new settlement of 6,000 houses. I am not sure how this fits with the proposed solar farm which will already detract from the landscape. The busy roads surrounding F1 pose significant accident risks. Current transport links are inadequate, with no rail options and limited bus services. The steep escarpment complicates deliverability due to fragmented land ownership. Infrastructure for housing developments often lags, creating pressure on existing services. I urge that F1 be removed from consideration to prevent future traffic and pollution issues.
