I oppose the proposed housing development at Hockley Heath due to several significant concerns. Firstly, there are existing flooding and drainage issues that further development would worsen. The site is on Green Belt land, which should only be developed in exceptional circumstances, and the proposal conflicts with Solihull MBC’s local plan for small-scale developments. Additionally, increased traffic would heighten safety risks, harm local wildlife, and alter the village's character. The infrastructure cannot support such a large development, and the burden on Solihull’s resources is unfair. I urge the Councils to reject this proposal.
