I am writing to express strong opposition to the proposed construction of up to 4,300 homes in Hockley Heath village. This development would devastate our village and significantly affect its current residents. The area lacks sufficient amenities to support an influx of nearly 10,000 new residents, which would also harm local house prices and destroy valuable green belt land. The natural countryside is integral to Hockley Heath’s charm. The community is united in opposing these plans, which are not environmentally friendly and would be detrimental to our area.
