I have lived in Ufton for over 20 years. I am concerned about the proposed F1 housing development for the following reasons:-

1. The area’s roads are already severely impacted by HS2 development which will continue for a number of years. The site would require considerable road works to enable access onto the Fosse/A425 - which are already exceptionally busy roads. An additional 6000 households (12000 cars) is not sustainable.
2. The proposed land is in multiple ownership which makes deliverability questionable.
3. Part of the potential site is already set aside for solar/renewable. Conversion to housing would lose this benefit as well as further farming land.
4. Limited options for public transport in the area.

If this site is selected we would suggest that as a minimum requirement necessary amenities such as schools, local shops and medical facilities are build contemporaneously with the housing development and not afterwards.
