As a long-standing resident, I strongly object to the proposed development of over 7,000 homes in Lapworth, Kingswood, and Rowington under the South Warwickshire Local Plan. This plan threatens to destroy Green Belt land and alter the rural character of our villages. I am concerned about the unmanageable traffic, road safety risks, and the lack of essential infrastructure, such as healthcare and schools. I value the community's well-being and fear that this reckless development prioritises numbers over the needs of current residents. I urge a focus on sustainable housing solutions.
