As a resident of Hampton-on-the-Hill, I am concerned about the proposed B2 site at Hatton. Our village is already suffering from heavy traffic as it is used as a shortcut when the A46 is congested. Past planning applications for new developments promised a Haul Route to alleviate this but it was never implemented. The influx of new homes has only worsened the situation, damaging our historic buildings. I urge that any development at Hatton includes a by-pass, funded by the developers, to protect our village's quality of life from increased traffic.
