I have lived in Lapworth for 20 years and have witnessed significant infill building. However, the existing infrastructure is inadequate to support the proposed new dwellings. The village has limited amenities, including one small shop and one primary school. Transport options are very poor, with no afternoon train service and only school buses available. The local doctor's surgery is at full capacity, and job opportunities are scarce. Without significant investment in infrastructure, the area cannot sustain the proposed housing developments, and the costs would outweigh any potential benefits.
