I oppose the inclusion of SG24 in the SWLP as a Hockley Heath resident. I am concerned about the excessive scale of development that threatens our village identity and local cohesion. SG24 has not been evaluated properly against the Solihull Local Plan, which only supports small-scale development. The proposal would harm green belt land and local biodiversity without adequate infrastructure planning or consideration of alternative sites. It also risks exacerbating flooding issues and fails to meet sustainability principles. Overall, SG24 cannot proceed as it stands, as it would irreparably damage our community and environment.
