I am concerned about the housing proposals near the Hockley Heath Boundary SG24, which I see as an encroachment that will strain our infrastructure, particularly the frequently-flooding Stratford Road, A3400. Increasing housing will worsen flooding, worsening climate change issues we face. Additionally, diverted traffic from the M40 and M42 causes congestion on the A3400, affecting local residents and increasing potholes, leading to potential accidents. This proposal will impact Solihull Council, and I question why housing is being constructed on our border when there are other sites available in Warwickshire.
