I formally oppose the inclusion of SG24 in the SWLP due to its excessive overdevelopment, which disregards local plans and community needs. This proposal threatens green belt land without demonstrating exceptional circumstances, neglects sustainable alternatives, and poses significant risks to biodiversity and local infrastructure. Hockley Heath is already struggling with traffic, education, and healthcare demands, and the proposed development would exacerbate these issues. Moreover, the flooding risks and sustainability principles are not adequately addressed. We are concerned that this area was chosen only as it is the furthest possible area away from Stratford.
This plan is unsustainable and harmful to our community, and I urge reconsideration of its implications.
