I have lived in Ufton for over 20 years and I am concerned about the proposed F1 housing development. The roads are already severely impacted by HS2 development and additional traffic from 6000 households is unsustainable. The land is in multiple ownership, creating uncertainty for deliverability. Part of the site is designated for solar and renewable use, which would be lost if converted to housing, along with valuable farming land. Additionally, public transport options in the area are very limited. If the site is selected, necessary amenities must be provided.
