I am concerned about the use of Green Belt land for developments, as this country struggles with food production and relies heavily on expensive imports. The valuable farmland supports diverse wildlife, including deer, badgers, foxes, and various birds, which are vital for our ecosystem. The tree-lined hedges also mitigate noise and pollution from nearby motorways. Additionally, there is a lack of infrastructure for essential services, such as GP surgeries, and the current narrow lanes cannot handle increased traffic. I see no evidence of significant employment opportunities being generated in this area.
