I formally oppose the inclusion of SG24 in the Solihull Local Plan as a long-time resident of Hockley Heath. I am concerned about the scale of the proposed development, which threatens the village's unique identity and character. The Solihull Plan states that only small-scale development is suitable for Hockley Heath, making SG24 inappropriate. This plan risks irreversible damage to the green belt and fails to meet criteria for its release. I urge a thorough review of alternative sites before any decision is made, as the consequences will be detrimental and permanent.
