I object to the proposed development of 6,700 houses at Bearley and Wilmcote, as it violates the Core Strategy 2011-2031. This development would harm local heritage, particularly Mary Arden's house, and destroy the village's character through urban sprawl. The area already faces flooding issues due to poor drainage on heavy clay soil. Increased traffic on the busy A3400 would exacerbate congestion, making Stratford's road system chaotic. Alternative sites with better infrastructure and no heritage concerns such as Hatton, south of Kingswood, Long Marston Airfield, South of Leamington Spa/Whitnash, and west of B455 Fosse Way should be considered to protect our villages and prevent further traffic and flooding problems.
