I wish to object to the proposed development (SG24) in Hockley Heath. There are existing surface water drainage issues that would worsen with further development. The site is in the Green Belt, which should only be developed in exceptional circumstances. The development contradicts the Solihull MBC local plan, which permits only small developments. It would increase traffic on the A34 and harm wildlife and biodiversity. Additionally, it would change Hockley Heath's character negatively and the village lacks the necessary infrastructure to support such a development. It is unacceptable that you are placing this development on the edge of your boundary. The costs for education and health will impact Council Tax payers in Solihull and this is unfair.
