I strongly oppose the housing development at site 62 in Shipston for several reasons. The area faces significant infrastructure challenges, including an overloaded sewer system and high flood risks. Local schools are full, and health services are overstretched. Key amenities like a train station and police station are lacking, forcing reliance on cars. The proposed site has been used for youth football and is designated as a "Wellbeing Zone," holding ecological value. Developing this site would harm the town's environmental and social wellbeing, making it an unsuitable location for housing.
