I wish to emphasise my objections regarding the Wilmcote area due to its existing flood risk, which I believe Stratford District Council has already recognised in other documents. I find it concerning that the South Warwickshire Local Plan proposes over 6,700 houses, which would exacerbate surface water run-off and overwhelm local infrastructure, including roads and drainage systems. This situation could lead to increased insurance costs for current and future residents. I advocate for smaller, well-planned developments that preserve the village character, and ensure safety without overwhelming local resources.
